About Live Casino Kenya
Live Casino Kenya is an information site about live dealer casino games for adults in Kenya. It explains how the games are streamed, what the bets pay, how the tables are checked and which parts of the Gambling Control Act, 2025 and the 2026 Regulations apply to a player. It is new, it earns nothing, and it says so.
What this site does
It answers the questions a person has while watching a live roulette wheel on a phone. Where is the studio? How does the picture get here, and how late is it? What does a split pay, and why does the casino keep 2.70% of every bet on a single-zero wheel? Who checks that the shoe is shuffled? Which licence does the operator need in Kenya, how old must a player be, and what can a player do when the money is getting out of hand?
Every answer is written from three kinds of source: the Gambling Control Act, 2025 and the Regulations made under it in 2026, as gazetted; the published pages of the game providers themselves, such as Evolution and Pragmatic Play, for how their studios and games work; and arithmetic shown on the page. Where a legal statement is made, its section is named next to it. Where a number is derived, the page says so and shows the working.
What this site is not
- Not the regulator. The regulator is the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Kenya, established by s.6(1) of the Act as successor to the Betting Control and Licensing Board (s.6(3)). This site has no connection with it, and the Authority's own publications prevail over anything written here.
- Not an operator. Nothing here takes a bet, opens an account or holds money. Offering gambling in Kenya requires a licence (s.98 makes operating without one an offence), and this site holds none because it offers none.
- Not a review site. There are no rankings, scores, star ratings, bonus comparisons or lists of recommended casinos, and there never will be while the law reads as it does.
- Not legal or financial advice. The pages describe what the Act and the Regulations say and cite the sections. They do not tell you what to do in your situation. For that, speak to a lawyer or to the Authority.
Who publishes it
This is a demonstration build of a new site. The publisher's legal name, its contact channel and the name of a human reviewer have not been published yet. The site has no track record: the launch date is 28 October 2026, and the first guides are still being prepared. Rather than invent a masthead, the site states these gaps here, on the contact page and in the footer of every page, and will fill them in as soon as the details are settled. The editorial policy describes how pages are drafted with AI tools and checked before publication, including the fact that no named human reviewer is in place at present.
Why there is no advertising and no operator link
Under s.87(1) of the Gambling Control Act, 2025 no gambling may be advertised on any electronic or other medium without the Authority's approval. Breaching the advertising section carries a fine of up to KES 20,000,000, imprisonment for up to 20 years, or both (s.87(4)). The Gambling Control (Advertising) Regulations, 2026 (L.N. 114) define an advertisement as any communication promoting participation in a gambling activity through print, broadcast, outdoor, electronic or digital media (r.2), require every approved advert to be submitted at least seven days in advance (r.5) and to carry the licence number, the licensee's details and the prescribed wording (r.8), and bar calls to action, testimonials and depictions of gambling as income (r.9).
A link that sends a reader to a casino, a bonus figure, a ranking that says one operator is better than another: each of these is promotion, and this site has no approval to promote anything. So it does not. It names no operator as a recommendation, links to none, and takes no payment from any. The money page sets out the whole position, including what would have to happen before any of this changed.
Who it is for
Adults in Kenya of the age of majority, which is eighteen. The Act requires an operator to obtain proof of age of majority before registering any player (s.72(3)) and before paying a prize (s.70(6)), and the 2026 Conduct of Gambling Operations Regulations treat persons under eighteen as minors who must be kept out of gambling and gambling promotion (L.N. 112 r.92(1)(c)). Every page carries the 18+ notice and a link to the responsible gambling page, which lists the toll-free line shown on the regulator's website, 0800-723-770, and the self-exclusion route under s.115 of the Act.
How to report an error
If a figure, a section number or a description of a game is wrong, the corrections page explains what counts as an error, what to send and what happens next. A correction that cites a primary source (the Gazette text, a regulator page, a provider's own game page) is acted on fastest. Every correction is logged on that page with the date.
