Privacy

This site collects as little as it can. It has no forms or accounts and shows no adverts. Since 2 November 2026 it runs Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies only if you allow them in the bar at the bottom of the page. The server also keeps the ordinary log that every web server keeps. This page says exactly what each of those records, who can see it, and what the Data Protection Act, 2019 gives you the right to ask.

What this site does and does not do

  • Cookies only if you allow them. A bar at the bottom of every page offers "Allow analytics cookies" or "Decline", with a link to this page. Until you allow them, no analytics cookie is stored.
  • Google Analytics 4. The site measures visits with Google Analytics 4, described in the next section. No heat maps, no session recording.
  • No forms, no accounts, no newsletter. You cannot type anything into this site, so it holds nothing you typed.
  • One outside resource. Fonts and images are served from this site's own domain. The Google Analytics script, loaded from googletagmanager.com, is the only resource that comes from elsewhere.
  • No advertising. There are no ad networks. The money page explains why.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 was switched on on 2 November 2026. The tag is loaded from googletagmanager.com on every page and runs in Google consent mode. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are always set to "denied", whatever you choose.

What each choice in the analytics bar means
Your choiceCookies on your deviceWhat the tag sends to Google
No choice yetNo analytics cookieCookieless page-view signals: the page address, the time, and browser and device details
DeclineNo analytics cookieThe same cookieless page-view signals
Allow analytics cookiesFirst-party cookies whose names begin with _ga, so that repeat visits can be recognisedPage views, with those cookies

Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage under the key ga-consent. You can change your analytics choice at any time; the bar opens again.

Google processes what it receives under its own privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy, and may process it outside Kenya.

What the server logs

Like every web server, the one serving this site writes a line for each request: the time, the page requested, the response code, the IP address the request came from, and the browser's user-agent string and referring page if the browser sends them. These logs are used to keep the site running, to find broken pages and to detect abuse. They are not combined with any other data, are not used to build profiles and are kept for a short, fixed period before being deleted. The exact retention period will be published here together with the publisher's details.

An IP address can be personal data: the Data Protection Act, 2019 defines personal data as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (s.2). This site treats the log as personal data and handles it as described above.

Third parties

Google receives the analytics data described above, through the tag in your browser, and processes it under its own policy. No data is sold to anyone. The hosting provider's own servers hold the logs as part of hosting the site; that provider's name will be published here with the publisher's details.

Your rights under the Data Protection Act, 2019

The Act was assented to on 8 November 2019 and commenced on 25 November 2019. Under s.26 a data subject has the right to be informed of the use to which their personal data is put, to access it, to object to its processing, and to the correction or deletion of false or misleading data. For this site, that means you may ask whether the log holds an entry for your IP address and ask for it to be deleted.

If you believe this site has handled your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Data Commissioner at the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, orally or in writing (s.56(1)-(2)); the complaint must be investigated and concluded within 90 days (s.56(5)). The Office also publishes a public register of registered data handlers, which you can use to check whether a betting or casino operator holding your data is registered; its FAQ states that s.18 of the Act and the 2021 Registration Regulations require organisations processing personal data to register. Whether this site's publisher must register will be assessed and stated here when the publisher is named.

Operators are a different matter

A licensed casino holds a great deal more about you than this site ever will: identity documents, location data and age assurance checks are mandatory before an account is activated and a first deposit taken (Gambling Control (Conduct of Gambling Operations) Regulations, 2026, L.N. 112 r.82(1)-(2)), as are payment records. Your rights under s.26 of the Data Protection Act apply to that operator in full. Ask the operator first; if that fails, s.56 gives you the Data Commissioner.
